Corporate Events & Private Celebrations
Meetings, retreats and celebrations above the Pacific
Two private venues, a resort's worth of restaurants and rooms behind them, and a coordinator who runs the day so you don't have to.
- 2 private venues, up to 200 guests
- On-site AV, projector and sound included
- One coordinator from first email to load-out
- 12 acres, five restaurants, 131 rooms next door
Why Parador
A resort, not a rented villa
Most corporate retreat venues in Costa Rica are private villas: a house, a kitchen crew you hope shows up, and a generator for the AV. Parador is a full-service resort on its own promontory above Manuel Antonio, which means your group gets real meeting rooms wired for presentations, a kitchen that already runs five restaurants, and a staff that plans events every week of the year, not just yours.
Bring 20 people for a two-day planning offsite or 200 for a gala. Break the group into workshops in El Rey Room in the morning, move to L'Orange Room and its terrace for the evening, and let everyone walk back to their own room after, all on the same 12 acres. The rainforest and the Pacific are the backdrop either way.
The spaces
Two venues, built for different rooms full of people
Book one for the day or both for a full conference: workshops and breakouts in El Rey, the evening program in L'Orange.
El Rey Room: the intimate meeting and dinner space
The room for a working session that still feels like an occasion: pressed-tin ceiling, three chandeliers, high enough ceilings for a screen everyone can see. Set boardroom for a leadership meeting, U-shape for a workshop, or banquet for a rehearsal dinner or an awards night under 65 guests.
Capacity: Auditorium 60, school 40, U-form 30, imperial 25, banquet 64; 10.5 by 10.5 meters

L'Orange Room and Terrace: the full-conference space
The largest room on the property, with its own terrace over the gardens for a coffee break or a cocktail hour that spills outside. Custom lighting, a dance floor when the agenda calls for one, and the kitchen next door for a plated dinner or a passed-hors-d'oeuvres reception.
Capacity: Auditorium 150, school 74, U-form 52, imperial 50, banquet 80 to 100, cocktail 100 to 200; 29.25 by 17.5 meters

Built for the occasion
Whatever brought your group together
Meetings & Conferences
Board meetings, all-hands, training days. Screens, sound and a room that seats however many you've got, with breakout space next door.
Retreats & Incentives
Work in the morning, Manuel Antonio National Park or a catamaran in the afternoon. We build the itinerary around your agenda, not the other way around.
Milestone Celebrations
A gala, an anniversary, a birthday that deserves more than a restaurant reservation. Uplighting, a dance floor, and a kitchen used to cooking for a crowd.
Family Reunions & Quinceañeras
The whole family under one roof, from grandparents in a suite to cousins on the terrace. One reservation, one coordinator, no juggling separate bookings.

How planning an event at Parador works
Tell us the shape of it
Headcount, dates, and what kind of day this is, meeting, retreat, celebration. The form below takes two minutes.
Walk the space
A site visit if you're already in Costa Rica, a video walk-through with your coordinator if you're not.
Build the agenda
Room layout, AV, catering, activities, room block for overnight guests, one point of contact for all of it.
Arrive and run it
The team sets the room, runs the day, and resets between sessions. Your group is on vacation in Manuel Antonio either way.
Good to know
Both rooms are indoor and air-conditioned, so weather never touches the agenda. L'Orange Terrace is the only outdoor piece, used for a coffee break or cocktail hour, with the room itself as the covered fallback.
Questions
What planners ask us first
What's the minimum group size?
There isn't a hard minimum. El Rey Room works for a dozen people around one table; L'Orange handles a 150-person conference. Tell us the headcount and we'll recommend the room and layout.
Is AV and sound equipment included?
Yes, both rooms have a projector, screen and sound system built in. If you need something specific, video conferencing, a live stream, extra microphones, tell your coordinator and we'll confirm it's available or bring it in.
Can you handle dietary restrictions and themed dinners?
Yes. The kitchen already runs five restaurants on property, so allergies, vegetarian and vegan counts, and a themed menu for a closing dinner are all things we do routinely, not special requests.
Do you offer team-building activities or excursions?
We can build an itinerary around Manuel Antonio National Park, catamaran tours, ziplining and sport fishing through our partner operators, scheduled around your meeting agenda rather than in place of it.
Is there a room block rate for overnight groups?
Yes, groups booking a block of rooms get a group rate. Tell us your headcount and dates in the form and we'll quote it alongside the venue.
What happens if it rains during an outdoor piece?
L'Orange Terrace is the only outdoor space we use for events, and the room it opens off of is the covered fallback, so a coffee break or cocktail hour simply moves a few steps indoors. Nothing about the agenda depends on the weather.
Can we book El Rey and L'Orange together for one event?
Yes, that's a common setup for a full-day conference: workshops or breakouts in El Rey during the day, the main program or evening reception in L'Orange. Both rooms are on the same floor.
How do groups get from the airport?
Most groups fly into San José (SJO) or Quepos's local airstrip; we can help arrange private transfers or a shuttle for the group as part of planning.
