Rodrigo Salazar started in the world of cooking and hospitality, and found what truly fulfilled him professionally. As part of his journey, he even taught students of gastronomy, stressing the importance of being passionate in an arduous and difficult career.
Over the span of two decades, chef Rodrigo has worked in diverse kitchens worldwide, alongside chefs from many nations, learning and collaborating in the culinary arts, and in 2017 had the opportunity to join the Parador Resort & Spa Team as Executive Chef.

This chic yet casual restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and offers a diverse menu with daily specials comprising both local and Mediterranean-inspired dishes. These vary depending on seasonal ingredients, a fuse together local and international fare, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.
Our extensive breakfast buffet, features a design-your-own omelette station, fresh-baked goods, fresh fruit, traditional gallo pinto and rich Costa Rican coffee.

Served for groups of maximum 10 guests at the “Salón de la Reina”, the dishes are created using Costa Rican ingredients and innovative cooking techniques. Depending on the dish presentation, the intimate room is enveloped in video displays and synchronized with surround sound and color sensations.
