About this tour

A 4x4 ride into the Savegre valley, then a guided run down Class II to IV rapids with swim stops. Gear, guide and a meal included.

The day starts with a 4x4 ride deep into the rainforest to the remote Savegre region. First stop is Silencio, a village known for its close, cooperative community and an interesting history.

After a rough stretch of road we stop at a Tico restaurant, where you pre-order your lunch and can use the restrooms before the river.

Then comes the Savegre River and its Class II, III and IV rapids. The guides know every bend of it and keep you safe. At a few points along the way they invite you to jump in and swim.
