Quepos Verde Aventura

About this tour

A three-hour guided boat trip through the Isla Damas mangrove estuary, a good choice for wildlife without paddling.

Mangroves are tough trees that grow in salt water, right where the sea meets the land. They are considered one of the most diverse and biologically rich environments on the planet.

On this boat trip you may see rainbow boas, crocodiles, anteaters and opossums. Water birds are everywhere: pink spoonbills, herons, white ibis and the white-headed eagle.

The Damas Island Boat Tour is an easy way into this mangrove ecosystem and a good look at Costa Rica's wildlife.
