Naturalist-led walk on the park's Forest Trail, ending at the white sand beaches
Quepos Verde Aventura
A certified naturalist walks you through Manuel Antonio with a spotting scope, then a beach break for a swim. Entrance, transport and fruit included.
Manuel Antonio National Park is one of Costa Rica's best-known protected areas, and this tour takes it at an easy pace. Certified professional naturalists lead you along well-marked trails through rainforest and mangroves to the park's white sand beaches, explaining the plants and animals as you go.
Squirrel, white-faced and howler monkeys, sloths and toucans are often easy to see. A lot of the wildlife blends into the forest, though, and that is where the guides earn their keep: they spot animals you would walk right past and set them up in the telescopic lens so you can see them close.
Private tours can be arranged. Parador's free shuttle runs to the park several times a day if you want to return on your own later.

Cancellation by Quepos Verde Aventura: every tour depends on weather, water and ground conditions being compatible with participants' safety, and any tour may be canceled at any time if Quepos Verde Aventura staff consider safety to be at risk. In that case the tour is refunded or rescheduled, unless more than 50% of the tour time had already passed when Quepos Verde Aventura canceled it. Cancellation by the guest: a booked tour may be canceled more than 24 hours before it starts. No refund or compensation is given for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start of the tour.
