After-dark walk on Parador's trails looking for red-eyed frogs, sloths and owls
Quepos Verde Aventura
A guided night walk through Parador's rainforest by flashlight. Frogs, sloths, coatis and insects are the usual finds, and you are back before dinner.
When the sun goes down the forest gets loud, and that is when this walk starts on the Monkey Trail. You follow flashlights into the side of the jungle nobody sees by day.
A certified naturalist guide carries a telescopic lens and helps you find coatis, sloths, raccoons, skunks and porcupines, plus plenty of reptiles, amphibians and insects. The red-eyed frog is the one photographers want. If you are lucky, you may see a wildcat.
Monkeys are generally not visible at night.
Cancellation by Quepos Verde Aventura: every tour depends on weather, water and ground conditions being compatible with participants' safety, and any tour may be canceled at any time if Quepos Verde Aventura staff consider safety to be at risk. In that case the tour is refunded or rescheduled, unless more than 50% of the tour time had already passed when Quepos Verde Aventura canceled it. Cancellation by the guest: a booked tour may be canceled more than 24 hours before it starts. No refund or compensation is given for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start of the tour.
